Colleen Booth

In 2007, Colleen visited San Francisco, fell in love with the city, and moved to the Bay Area from Boston just two short months later. She joined the Stock & Bones Group that year as Director of Events and Guest and Community Relations. In early 2012, she took over at the helm of Anchor & Hope Restaurant as General Manager.  In 2014, she joined Mitchell & Steven Rosenthal of Town Hall, Salt House and Anchor & Hope, as Director of Operations, and led their expansion plans, opening two cafes, La Capra, and Jersey Restaurant, as well as taking her Level 3 Advanced WSET courses.  In November 2015, Colleen joined Michelin starred Lazy Bear, to assist in operational and administrative organization, and help lead their service program, in which they received their second Michelin star in 2016.  She went on to be the opening General Manager and Director of Food & Beverage at Rambler Restaurant, inside the Zeppelin Hotel, in the former location of Wolfgang Puck's renowned Postrio.  In 2017, Colleen rejoined forces with David Barzelay, chef owner of Lazy Bear, and his partner, Nicolas Torres, as an independent consultant and led the opening to their widely acclaimed cocktail bar, True Laurel.  She offered managerial, financial and service consulting to other restaurants in the city as well, including Chef Gabriela Camara's applauded Cala Restaurant.  In 2018, Colleen continued consulting and also led Airbnb's food team, growing the campus' food outlets by over 35%.  She returned to restaurants at the helm of three Michelin starred Atelier Crenn in 2020, before coming home to Lazy Bear and True Laurel in 2021 as Managing Partner & COO.  Colleen kicked off the Bay Area Women in Hospitality network in 2022, and is focused on creating an honest, comfortable and inspirational network for women in hospitality.
