Allow me to introduce myself…

Hello, my name is Arikka (pronounced, AIR-REE-KUH).

Although I’ve worked in the kitchen and behind the bar, what I have always been enamored by in hospitality is PEOPLE. People are the heartbeat of every business. We create, we serve, we teach, we grow. People are the bread, butter, and pinch of salt that nourishes my being.

I am a hospitality professional that thrives on connecting with others. I enjoy engagement & collaboration. Hospitality has not only been a career path for me, but it is a way of life. It is in my blood and bones. I look forward to being a source of support for those I serve, always putting respect, compassion & kindness at the forefront of each relationship. 

My journey in hospitality spans over the course of the last 14+ years. After attending the International Culinary Center (formerly known as The French Culinary Institute), I dove right into restaurant management in New York City. I have managed restaurants from coast to coast, but I started this journey in the kitchen as a baker in San Antonio, TX. The majority of my tenure has been spent as General Manager leading, mentoring, and uplifting my teams.

After my last post as General Manager for the Michelin Star Wine Bar, Bar Crenn, I set out on an adventure as a solopreneur to serve our industry in a more holistic way and A-Frame Hospitality was born. As I continue on this journey, A-Frame continues to grow into something bigger than I have ever imagined. A-Frame Hospitality is centered on building cultures of compassion and training leaders to find their voice, show up authentically, and lead from the heart!
